Your Side vs. Their Side
Insurance companies have teams of adjusters working in their best interest. You deserve someone working in yours.
Their adjusters represent the carrier’s financial interests, and every dollar paid to you is a dollar lost by the insurance company. We represent yours. We are paid a percentage of the claim proceeds, which means the more we recover for you, the more we earn. Our goal is always to get claims approved and paid adequately and equitably.
RJ D’Angelo spent 20 years in construction, from laborer to project manager to owning a small company, before moving into storm restoration work. When he saw firsthand how insurance companies were shortchanging property owners, he became a licensed public adjuster so he could do more to help. His construction background is now applied to every claim we handle.
Our Services
Storm Claims Are Our Specialty
Hundreds of hail and wind damage claims have come to us denied or below the deductible, and the overwhelming majority have been resolved for full roof and siding replacements. Here is what that looks like in practice:
Jeff in Abbottstown came to us after his insurance company offered him $4,000 for his wind- and water-damaged roof and interior. We recovered more than $52,000.
Loren in Mount Wolf was offered $698 for hail damage to her roof, siding, and personal property. We recovered more than $46,000.
Madeline and Alexander in Silver Spring, MD had a pipe burst and water damage on two floors. They had been paid only $11,000 by their insurance company before they retained us. The claim ultimately settled for $127,000.

What Our Clients Say
“We had hail and wind damage on our rental property. Our insurance company stated ‘normal wear and tear’ — claim denied. RJ assisted in getting the roof completely covered. We actually worked again with RJ on our personal home — again, initially denied — again he came through. He refuses to give up. He will send letter after letter, fighting for what he believes is rightfully due to the homeowner. He came through for us on two occasions. He gave us hope when we thought it was a lost cause.”
— Pamela & Stephen R., York PA
“RJ thoroughly evaluated my property and was able to identify many items, even those not directly associated with the roof itself, that still fell under the same root cause for the insurance claim that I wouldn’t have thought of, and can’t say my insurance company would have knowingly, or voluntarily, evaluated with the same detail. I can recommend, without hesitation, RJ’s services based on my multiple contracted services involving him and his business.”

There is no cost to get started. We review your policy and claim documentation at no charge, with no obligation. Our fee, typically 10 to 20 percent of the recovered settlement, is collected only after we recover money for you. If your claim is not approved and no money is paid, you owe us nothing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really need a public adjuster, or can I handle this myself?
You can handle it yourself, but most people don’t have the combination of construction knowledge and insurance knowledge required to properly advocate for their own claim. We have spent thousands of hours over many years building the systems and expertise we use to achieve adequate and equitable settlements, and we have teams of specialists ready to assist. The question is not whether you can file a claim. The question is whether you will recover what you are entitled to.
Will this cost me anything if my claim isn't approved?
No. We are paid a percentage of the claim proceeds. If your claim is not approved and no money is paid by the insurance company, we do not get paid.
My contractor recommended I work with you. Do you work for my contractor or for me?
We only work for you, the policyholder. We work closely with your contractor because their construction expertise helps us document your claim accurately, and we want to make sure your contractor can do a quality job restoring your property. But we represent your interests. Typically, all three parties, your contractor, you, and us, want the same thing: the claim approved and paid adequately so the necessary repairs can get done.
Will I have to pay my contractor more out of pocket because I'm also paying a public adjuster fee?
Under most circumstances, no. The insurance claim is paid based on the approved estimate written by your insurance company. Who you hire to perform the necessary repairs from that point is up to you. In some states, we have established relationships with contractors who are willing to perform the approved scope of repairs at the approved price, even after accounting for the public adjuster fee.
Every inquiry receives a direct response. Initial claim consultations are always free and carry no obligation to proceed. All information shared is treated with complete confidentiality.
